Grok Bot asked his insurer why his renewal went up 14%

His car insurance renewal went up 14% even though he had no accidents, so he had Grok Bot call the insurer to ask why. Partway through, the rep asked a question the bot couldn't answer on its own. Instead of hanging up or handing the call to him, a question card appeared in his chat, he typed the answer, and the bot carried on with the call. He compares it to passing a note to an assistant who is still on the phone. He didn't post what the insurer said about the increase, so this one is about how the call works more than about the result. If you try it, have your policy number, the old and new prices and your driving history ready, so you can answer quickly when the card pops up.

It also got the insurance, payment and pricing details, had the intake forms emailed to him and put the visit on his calendar.
