Grok Bot found and filled the forms after a cancelled flight
His flight from San Francisco to New York was cancelled. He sent Grok Bot screenshots of his receipts, and it found the right reimbursement page, worked out which fields to fill in and followed the submission steps for him. A screenshot he shared shows the bot stopping to ask before it pressed submit. He says it saved him a lot of time on a dull job. Airline reimbursement forms often want booking codes, receipt totals and dates typed in a set way, so this kind of copy work is a good fit for an agent, as long as you check the amounts it typed and press submit yourself.
Copy this prompt
My flight [FLIGHT NUMBER] on [DATE] from [FROM] to [TO] with [AIRLINE] was cancelled. I'm attaching my receipts for [MEALS / HOTEL / TRANSPORT]. Find the airline's official reimbursement or refund request page, list each field it asks for and which receipt answers it, and fill the form in. Add up the totals and show them to me. Stop before you submit and wait for my yes.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Only use the airline's own website. Search results can show look-alike claim sites that take a fee or your data.
- Check every amount and date before you submit. One wrong number can get a claim rejected or delayed.
- Keep the original receipts. Airlines can ask for them later.
