Amazon book ad bids checked and raised, 560 at once
The poster sells books through Amazon KDP and runs ads on them. He trained OpenClaw on the Amazon ads console over 2 to 3 hours: it learned where the buttons, bulk edit panel and confirmation dialogs are. On the way, it spotted his mistake: 13 keywords were bid at $15.55 on a campaign with a $10 daily budget, so one click could cost more than the whole day. It reset those to his usual $0.60. Then it raised 560 keyword bids by 15% across every campaign with "key" in the name. He says 547 were confirmed by reading them back, and the total of all bids went from $315.53 to $362.57. His point: you train and supervise the agent first, then you get the time back. He offers AI consulting in the same post.
Copy this prompt
Open my Amazon Ads console. First, list every keyword whose bid is higher than [AMOUNT] or higher than its campaign's daily budget, and show me the list before changing anything. Then, for campaigns with [TEXT] in the name, raise every keyword bid by [PERCENT]%. After each ad group, read the bids back and confirm they changed. Give me a before and after total at the end.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Have it list the changes before it saves. A bulk edit with the wrong percent can burn your ad budget in a day.
- Read the bids back after the run, as he did, instead of trusting the agent's summary.
