Hermes Agent cancelled an Eight Sleep membership
Craig said his Eight Sleep setup seemed to overheat him overnight. Matt replied that his had been doing the same, so he put his Hermes Agent in charge of it and cancelled the annual membership. Short and specific: a hardware subscription that stopped feeling safe, handed to an agent with a cancel brief. Keep the account email and last four of the card ready, and tell the agent not to accept retention offers unless you listed them.
Copy this prompt
Cancel my [Eight Sleep / SERVICE] annual membership on account [EMAIL]. Use the official cancel flow or support chat. Do not accept any retention discount, pause or downgrade unless I listed it here: [ALLOWED OFFERS OR NONE]. Before you confirm, show me the effective end date, any refund of unused time and whether hardware return is required. Stop for my OK before the final cancel click.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Say which offers are allowed. Vague cancel requests are how people end up paused instead of cancelled.
- Screenshot the confirmation email and the end date. Hardware subscriptions sometimes keep billing for accessories.
- If the bed or device stores health data, ask how to export or delete it after cancel.
