Book a scan from a photo of the prescription
The poster had Grok Bot book his doctor's appointment online. He left with a prescription for an MRI, took a photo of it in the elevator and sent it to his Bot. By the time he reached his car it had found open appointment times, and all he had to do was pick one. He says the whole booking took about as long as the walk from the office to the parking lot. The useful part is the handoff: a photo of the paper order gave the agent the scan type and the ordering doctor, so he didn't have to type anything or sit on hold with the imaging center.
Copy this prompt
Here is a photo of my doctor's order for a [SCAN TYPE]. Read what is ordered and who ordered it. Find imaging centers within [DISTANCE] of [ZIP CODE] that take [INSURANCE NAME] and can book online. Show me the 5 earliest open times with the address of each. Don't book anything until I pick a time, and tell me if the center needs the order sent separately.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Some imaging centers won't book until they receive the order from your doctor's office or get approval from your insurer. Ask the agent to check that before you take time off.
- A photo of a prescription holds health details. Only send it to an agent you trust with that information.
