A week of home admin handed to an agent
The poster lists what Grok Bot handled in his first week. It cancelled his old internet provider and walked him through returning the modem. It closed out an Amazon return and tracked the refund. It filled out his dog's kennel paperwork, merged the vet records and drafted the email to the kennel. It found a podcast subscription he'd forgotten about and cancelled it. It also cleaned up duplicate calendar events, renamed and filed his documents, and kept his Todoist reminders current. None of these jobs is big on its own. The point is that each one would have sat on a to-do list for weeks, and handing them to one agent cleared them in a few days.
Copy this prompt
Go through my email from the last 6 months and list every subscription and recurring charge you can find, with the price and the last charge date. Mark the ones I haven't opened or used recently. For each one I say to cancel, cancel it, return any equipment the right way, and tell me the confirmation number and the date the last charge will hit. Ask me before you cancel anything.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Internet and cable companies often charge a fee if equipment isn't returned. Keep the return receipt or tracking number.
- Cancelling through a website sometimes only works after a call or chat. Ask the agent to tell you if it couldn't finish.
- Check your next card statement to make sure the charge actually stopped.
