Grok Bot returned a pharmacy call and asked before sharing
His pharmacy left a voicemail asking him to call back about a prescription. He asked Grok Bot to return the call and find out what they needed. When the pharmacy asked for his name and date of birth to confirm who he was, Grok Bot showed him an approval card during the call. He approved it and the call went on. He says the conversation felt natural and the bot handled it better than he would have. The approval step is the part worth copying: an agent should pause before giving out anything that proves who you are.
Copy this prompt
Return the call from [PHARMACY] at [NUMBER] about my prescription for [MEDICATION OR 'a prescription']. Find out what they need and whether anything is wrong with the order. If they ask for my name, date of birth or address, ask me before sharing. Do not agree to switch medications, change insurance or pay anything. After the call, tell me what they said, what I need to do and by when.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Keep health details to the minimum the pharmacy needs. Do not let the agent volunteer your other prescriptions.
- If the pharmacist wants to talk about dosage or side effects, take the call yourself.
- Check the callback number against your pharmacy's official number, not just the voicemail.
