Grok Bot called AT&T and checked fiber without signing up
Duck asked Grok Bot to call AT&T and find out whether fiber was available at their address. The bot waited on hold, reached a person, confirmed fiber was available, then asked about speeds, monthly prices, whether those prices were promotional and for how long, installation or equipment fees, and whether there was a contract. The rep said the quoted prices needed bank-account autopay and paperless billing, with a $15 discount for 12 months, no startup or equipment fees, and month-to-month service. The bot said it was only researching and would not sign up. About four minutes on the phone, and no installation was booked.
