Real use case
Turn website quote requests into QuickBooks estimates
A lawn care and snow removal company in Quebec City used to retype every quote request from its website into QuickBooks. Now, the poster writes, the form goes straight into n8n, the owner gets a notification and decides whether to go ahead, and n8n creates the customer and a draft estimate with the right service, but no price. The owner adds the price and sends it himself. It runs on the company's own server and went live on October 18.

Copy this prompt
When someone fills in the quote form on my website, send me a short notification with their name, address and the service they want. If I reply yes, create the customer in QuickBooks and a draft estimate with that service line and no price. Never send anything to the customer yourself.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Keep the price and the sending with a person. A wrong estimate is hard to take back.
- The poster runs an automation studio and built this for a client.
