Real use case

Grok Bot fixed outdated speed limits on map sites Tesla uses

A road in their town dropped from 45 mph to 35 mph years ago, but the Tesla still treated it as 45 until it saw the first sign, then fought the map data and sped. FeistyDelight asked Grok Bot to correct the map sources that still showed 45. It is too soon to know if a Tesla map update will pick up the change, but the research and edit pass was work they say they would never have done by hand. Map edits can take weeks to show up in a car, and each platform has its own review rules.

A road at [ROAD NAME / CROSS STREETS] in [CITY, STATE] changed from [OLD SPEED] mph to [NEW SPEED] mph on about [DATE]. Find the public map and open-data sources that still show [OLD SPEED]. For each one, open the official edit or report flow, submit the correction with a link to the posted speed-limit change if I have one, and list what you filed. Do not create fake accounts. Tell me which sources still need a human verification step.

Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.

Watch out for

  • Map corrections are reviewed by each platform. Expect days or weeks before a car update reflects them.
  • Do not invent evidence. Link a city ordinance, photo of the sign, or official notice when the form asks for proof.
  • Keep one checklist. Duplicate edits from many accounts can get rejected.

Can an AI agent help you find an apartment?

AI agents can check listing sites every day, sort places by your must-haves and set up move-in jobs. Here's what real renters report, how the Zillow apps in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini work, and the parts you should still do yourself.

Muse and Grok Bot pulled clips of a late son from 100 videos

Joe told his parents, 92 and 89, how he uses Grok Bot and Muse. He had converted about 100 family videos to digital. The agents sorted them, found footage of their late son, copied out clips, recommended the best ones, and even added a song over a cut. He is not sure his parents will use that skill themselves, but it made the idea of AI concrete for them. Memory projects need clear consent inside a family, and a human should pick which clips are shared.

PromptI have about [N] home videos in [FOLDER OR DRIVE]. Find clips that clearly show [PERSON], roughly [YEARS OR...

Grok Bot hit the weekly limit in 4.5 days; pause, don't rebuild

Rob's Grok Bot roster burned the weekly usage limit in about four and a half days. He considered upgrading, buying credits, or moving work to Meta Muse. He exported the usage CSV and asked Claude to read it. Claude found that about 91% of tokens were cached context reloads and that four routines on one bot drove about 70% of the burn. They paused seven routines instead of deleting bots, kept all 16 bots, and had the main bot check the usage meter each morning so nice-to-have jobs only run when there is room. He upgraded to Super for a short measured stretch, with a plan to drop back to Premium if the numbers fit. The lesson: inventory and pause before you rebuild everything elsewhere.

Grok Bot filed a travel claim for a cracked phone screen

Sudhanshu broke his iPhone screen while traveling in Canada. Grok Bot found his travel insurance in his email, worked out that the trip had accidental gadget cover and what the conditions were, filled in the claim and submitted it after he checked the final form. It then handled the insurer's emails asking for more proof, with him stepping in once or twice to explain details. It also booked a same-day Genius Bar appointment nearby. He says he spent about five minutes in total and saved more than £250. Some trip policies and credit cards include gadget cover that people forget they have.
