Real use case
Ask Grok Bot to check a suspicious text before you tap
The poster got a text message that looked off. Instead of tapping the link, he asked his Grok Bot to check it first. It told him the message was a well-made phishing attempt. He says the domain was then reported and blocked within 15 minutes. It's a simple habit: forward the message to your agent and let it look at the sender and the link before you open anything.

Copy this prompt
I got this text message: [PASTE THE TEXT, INCLUDING THE LINK AND SENDER]. Don't open the link. Tell me if it looks like a scam, and why, in plain English: check the sender, the domain in the link and the wording. If it claims to be from a company I deal with, tell me the official way to contact them so I can check myself. If it's a scam, tell me how to report it.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Paste the link as text. Don't open it on your phone to grab it.
- If the message says it's from your bank or a delivery company, contact them through their official app or number, not anything in the text.
