OpenClaw ran a couple's Asia trip planner and watched prices
He and his wife are travelling around Asia, and his OpenClaw agent does the planning. It watches flights and places to stay, keeps visa requirements and emergency information in one place, and built a shared trip website that both of them can edit, either on the site directly or by asking the agent. As a backup for when the agent or the internet isn't available, they also installed small Gemma AI models that run offline on their phones. The shared planner is the idea worth copying: one place for bookings, documents and emergency numbers that both travellers can see. Visa rules change and differ by passport, so the agent's notes should link to each country's official immigration site, and you should check them yourself before you fly. Keep copies of passports and bookings somewhere you can reach without the agent.
Copy this prompt
We're travelling to [COUNTRIES] from [DATES], two people with [PASSPORTS]. Make one shared trip plan with: flights and stays we've booked, price alerts for the legs we haven't booked, visa or entry rules for each country with a link to the official government page, and emergency numbers and our embassy contacts. Don't book or pay for anything without asking us.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Visa rules depend on your passport and change often. Check each one on the official government site.
- Keep offline copies of passports and bookings in case the agent or internet is down.
