Sign up for 7 conferences from one link

A teacher gave Meta Muse one link and two screenshots and had it register him for 7 different teacher conferences. He calls it a good tool for tedious tasks like this.

Here is the page with the conferences I want: [LINK], plus screenshots of my details: [ATTACH]. Register me for each of these: [LIST]. Use only free registrations unless I approve a fee. Before you submit each form, show me the details you'll enter. Afterwards, list each conference with its date and confirmation.

Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.

Watch out for

  • Check each confirmation email. A form that looks submitted may not have gone through.

Cowork can't reach your laptop files when it's closed

The poster points to Anthropic's help page: since new Claude Cowork tasks run in the cloud, they keep going after you close the Claude desktop app, but they can only read your connected local folders while that app is open on your computer. So a weekly report that depends on a spreadsheet on your laptop won't see it if the laptop is shut. His tip is to list where each input lives before you hand a job over, and to give a cloud copy for jobs that must run without your computer, noting that a copy goes out of date.

PromptBefore you start, list every file and app this task needs and where each one lives: my computer, the cloud or...

After an agent rebooks a flight, check every passenger

The poster planned a whole family trip with several agents, mostly Meta Muse, plus ChatGPT Dots and a little Grok Bot. He liked Muse best for planning. The day before the flight he needed a later departure: one agent worked out what cancelling would cost, while others chatted with airline support. After an hour on hold himself, another agent (Instinct, which we don't cover) got them rebooked. But at check-in the baby's ticket was missing from the new flight, and on the way back the baby was double booked. Nobody at the counter could explain it, and he couldn't see what the agents had said to support.

Some stores now block shopping agents

A Verge reporter showed that Meta Muse could keep re-adding items to a cart on The RealReal every time the 20-minute hold ran out, keeping them away from other shoppers for hours. After the story, The RealReal said it changed its bot defenses, so all agents now find it much harder to log in, add to cart and check out there, though they can still find listings and link to them. The Verge also notes that Amazon blocks agents from shopping on its site.
