Grok Bot removed his address from people-search sites
He says Grok Bot searched people-search sites for his name and found his home address listed. It filed the opt-out requests on each site and now checks again every month, since these listings often come back. It also got his phone number taken off telemarketing lists. In the same post he lists other jobs it does for him, like booking meetings and reservations and drafting posts. Removing your details from data broker sites is slow, repetitive work, which is why paid removal services exist. An agent can do the same steps, but each site has its own form and some ask for an email or ID to confirm.
Copy this prompt
Search the main people-search sites for my name [FULL NAME] in [CITY, STATE]. List every listing that shows my address or phone number, with links. For each one, find the official opt-out page and fill in the removal request. Use only [EMAIL] for confirmations. Don't upload any ID without asking me. Keep a list of what you filed and check again on the first of every month.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Only use a site's own opt-out page. Some lookalike removal pages are scams.
- Listings often come back. A monthly recheck is part of the job, not a one-time fix.

People-search and data-broker sites list your name, age, phone and address for anyone to find. Here is how to opt out yourself or with an AI agent, what real people report, and why you have to recheck the same sites later.
