Grok Bot booked a sedan rental from dates and a city
He gave Grok Bot only the basics: the dates, the pickup location and that he wanted a sedan. The bot searched for options, picked a rental and booked it. The only part he did himself was paying. For a lot of people, comparing rental sites is the boring part of planning a trip, so this is a good job to hand off. The catch with rentals is in the details: the total with taxes and fees, the deposit, mileage limits and the cancellation rules.
Copy this prompt
Find me a rental car. Pickup: [LOCATION] on [DATE, TIME]. Return: same place on [DATE, TIME]. I want a sedan. Compare at least three companies and show me the total price with taxes and fees, the deposit, mileage limits and the free cancellation deadline. Pick the best value with free cancellation, then stop and wait for me before you pay.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Compare the full total, not the daily rate. Airport fees and taxes can add a lot.
- Check whether you already have rental coverage through your card or car insurance before paying for extra cover.
