Ask an agent for your flight details, then check them
The poster asked Siri, ChatGPT's Dots and Meta Muse for one simple thing: his flight information. He says Siri failed, Dots found the confirmation email after he told it exactly which flight to look for but still got confused and gave him the wrong details, and Muse was blocked from getting it at all.
The lesson: Make the agent quote the email line by line. Don't trust its summary of a booking.
Copy this prompt
Find the confirmation email for my flight to [CITY] on [DATE]. Copy the flight number, the departure and arrival times, the terminal and the booking code exactly as they appear in the email, and paste the sentence each one comes from, so I can check them.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Times and gates change after you book. Check the airline's app on the day you fly.
- An agent reading your inbox can mix up two trips or an old booking. Give it the date and the destination.
