ChatGPT Dots catches a visa appointment clashing with a trip
Months ago the poster booked a US visa appointment for October 29. A week ago, a work trip to Singapore got planned for the first week of November. He hadn't put the two together. His Dots agent, which he calls Alfred, spotted the clash on its own and sent him a message about it. He says it came just in time to move his flight without paying a change fee. This is what an always-on agent with access to your calendar and email can catch: two plans made weeks apart that don't fit together.
Copy this prompt
Look at my calendar and travel emails for the next 3 months [CONNECT]. Find anything that clashes or is too tight: flights that overlap appointments, trips where my passport, visa or ID could be a problem, or connections that leave too little time. For each one, tell me what clashes, the dates, and the cheapest way to fix it, including whether the flight can be changed for free and until when. Check again every week and only message me if you find something new.
Our own prompt, written from what the source describes. We haven't run it ourselves. Text in [BRACKETS] is what you replace.
Watch out for
- Dots needs ChatGPT Pro and isn't available in the EEA, Switzerland or the UK.
- Check airline change rules yourself before you rebook. Free changes often depend on the fare type and how far ahead you change.
